Fall is in full swing at the University of Michigan, and I am pleased to share some exciting updates. Just two weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting Celebrate Invention, our signature event honoring our university’s inventors and the growing impact of their innovations. University of Michigan President Santa J. Ono joined us to celebrate the success of our faculty innovators, using the occasion to share that U-M research generated a record 580 new invention reports and launched 25 startup companies during Fiscal Year 2023.
