The University of Michigan's 2009 Celebrate Invention reception to honor the contributions from U-M inventors will be held Tuesday, October 13, from 3 - 6 pm at the Michigan League Ballroom. Welcoming remarks will begin at 4:45 pm. Guests will include U-M inventors who have contributed to discoveries, issued patents and technology licenses during FY 2009, as well as our University Deans, Officers and commercialization partners from the community.
The reception is also intended to encourage networking among our inventor community and with our partners in the community. We have scheduled much of our reception time for this purpose, and we have also asked several inventors to present their work in a series of kiosks set up around the room. Mark the date and join us for hors d'oeuvres, networking, and lively conversation on the subject of innovation at the University of Michigan.
