Teri Grieb, Medical Outreach Associate, is responsible for planning and implementing outreach activities within the Medical School to broaden and enhance participation in technology transfer and fostering entrepreneurial activities by facilitating contacts between medical school researchers and industry.
Prior to coming to the University, Teri joined a start-up company as a scientist and developed their licensed technology for sterilizing donor tissues for transplantation. Teri remained at the company for five years, the last two of which she served as the Director of Tissue Biologics. Subsequent to that, Teri was a project manager for Research Operations at MedImmune, Inc., where she assisted with developing and implementing procedures for managing the growing research pipeline and performed project management functions for commercial and university in-licensed products.
Teri holds a PhD from the Genetics Program at George Washington University and a BA in Biology from Columbia College.
