Rakhi collaborates with faculty and researchers from various departments in the biological sciences to protect intellectual property developed at the University of Michigan, and facilitates its transfer to the market through strategic partnerships with commercial institutions.
Through her previous position in technology transfer with the University of Arizona, Rakhi has substantial experience in technology and contracts management. In addition to her background in business, she has practical knowledge of life sciences through research with Deltagen Inc., a biotech company in northern California, and Stanford University in the areas of molecular biology and genomics.
Rakhi holds a MSB, Master's in Applied Biosciences and Business from the University of Arizona and a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
