Mutsumi is responsible for coordinating Material Transfer Agreements, and assisting with protection of intellectual property and transfer of technologies developed at the University of Michigan for commercialization.
Prior to joining OTT, Mutsumi was a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at UM and Associate Scientist at Pfizer Global Research and Development.
Mutsumi holds a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University, where she studied dendritic cell biology and their response to biomaterial contact.
