Matt is responsible for managing intellectual property developed at the University of Michigan and specializes in its transfer to companies interested in commercializing new technologies.
Prior to coming to Michigan, Matt was a Licensing Associate with a privately-owned technology transfer firm that worked closely with University of Illinois researchers, a marketing manger for a mid-sized telecommunications firm, and a bio-metric and technology manager with one of the country's larger agri-businesses.
Matt holds an MBA and a BS from the University of Illinois, and has over 10 years of experience in working with university and corporate researchers from a variety of disciplines both as a business collaborator and technology innovator.
