Dr. Bertolina is a Mentor-In-Residence In this role he provides assistance in technology disclosure assessments, business formation and mentoring staff, inventors and entrepreneurs.
Most recently, Jim was Vice-President of Maestro eLearning, a company focused on instructional design products for the life sciences. Prior to Maestro, he was Vice-President Product Design for Xoran Technologies (mobile CT scanners). Jim has also served as Technical Director, Navigation Systems for Stryker Corp and Product Manager for Leibinger (radiosurgery systems.)
Jim earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Physics from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics (with an emphasis in medical physics) from the University of Virginia.
