David Ritchie, Technology Licensing Specialist, has directed research programs related to inflammation and wound healing while on the faculty at the University of Texas, and has also worked in microgravity research as a Senior Scientist at the Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas.
In addition to his extensive biomedical background, he is experienced in managing patent portfolios and in licensing having worked as a Licensing Associate at the University of Iowa Research Foundation prior to joining UM Tech Transfer.
In particular, David has worked with a wide variety of university technologies including medical devices, cell lines, transgenic animals, oligonucleotide adjuvants, gene delivery systems, gene regulatory elements, and medical imaging compounds.
David holds a PhD in immunology/cell biology from Johns Hopkins University.
